El Indio was founded by craft beer drinkers who believed that there needed to be a place where people could get a hold of the finest Craft Beers from Mexico without having to travel over 2 hours south. Along with this, the need for a true Mexican food experience was also not being met with dozens of restaurants and pop ups around town that had less than stellar, real Mexican food.
